September 1st-October 1st
This traveling exhibit details the journey from slavery to freedom in Illinois, and features the stories of everyday people who struggled against slavery and prejudice and became community, state and national leaders.
September 11th 2001: The Day That Changed the World
In remembrance of this day in history, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum has put together a poster display that you can view in the library. On exhibit until October 2nd.
Join us once again for this popular program! This non-traditional book club features a monthly speaker on a specific book or topic. Enjoy this lunch-hour break from your day.
Real Talk on Race meets the first and thrid Thursdays of each month. RTOR is open to all and hopes to help build meaningful conversations and connections in our community.

The September book is Clean Getaway by Nic Stone. Participate in the book discussions and then vote on the award at the end of the year. Meetings will be facilitated by Children's Library Assistant Ms. Susan.
